Join WTW's Global Specialty team within Insurance Consulting & Technology (ICT) as a Senior Strategy Consultant - Global Specialty.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading specialty insurers, reinsurers, MGAs and brokers across the London Market and global specialty insurance sector. Working at the intersection of strategy, analytics, underwriting and technology, you will help clients solve their most pressing business challenges related to growth, profitability, portfolio performance and operational transformation.

You will play a key role in delivering client engagements that help organizations optimise underwriting performance, improve portfolio profitability, accelerate growth and navigate an increasingly data-driven and digitally enabled insurance landscape.

The Role

Client Advisory & Delivery

  • Develop trusted relationships with client stakeholders across underwriting, strategy, portfolio management and executive leadership teams.
  • Deliver consulting engagements addressing strategic, commercial and operational challenges across specialty insurance and reinsurance markets.
  • Translate complex business, market and analytical insights into practical recommendations that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Facilitate client workshops, interviews and strategic discussions to assess opportunities and define actionable roadmaps.
  • Support senior leaders in identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand WTW's consulting footprint.

Growth, Portfolio & Underwriting Strategy

  • Support engagements focused on growth strategy, portfolio optimisation and underwriting performance improvement.
  • Assess portfolio performance, market position and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities for profitable growth.
  • Contribute to projects addressing underwriting transformation, operating model effectiveness and trading efficiency.
  • Help clients leverage data, analytics and technology to improve decision-making and business performance.
  • Evaluate emerging market opportunities, distribution models and specialty market trends.

Strategic Transformation & Innovation

  • Support insurers and reinsurers through periods of digital transformation and organisational change.
  • Contribute to the design of future-state operating models across underwriting, analytics and portfolio management functions.
  • Assess the impact of evolving technology, data and AI capabilities on specialty insurance business models.
  • Support the development of solutions that improve efficiency, profitability and client outcomes.

Proposition Development & Thought Leadership

  • Contribute to the continued development of WTW's Global Specialty consulting proposition.
  • Perform market research, competitor analysis and strategic insight generation.
  • Support the creation of thought leadership, market publications and client-facing content.
  • Build expertise in a specific area of specialty insurance, underwriting, portfolio management or transformation.
  • Monitor emerging trends within the London Market, Bermuda, Singapore and broader global specialty insurance ecosystem.

Business Development & Commercial Contribution

  • Support proposal development, solution design and client presentations.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and strategic account opportunities.
  • Assist in articulating the value of WTW's Consulting and Technology capabilities to prospective clients.
  • Support the development of strategic partnerships that enhance WTW's market offerings.
  • Actively contribute to the growth of the Global Specialty practice.

Collaboration & Team Development

  • Coach and support junior colleagues through project delivery and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate across the broader Insurance Consulting & Technology business, including actuarial, analytics, underwriting and technology specialists.
  • Champion innovation, inclusion and continuous learning.
  • Share market insights, client feedback and best practices across the Global Specialty team.
  • Demonstrate WTW's values and commitment to client excellence.
