We’re looking for a Senior Strategy Manager. Based at our Paddington site, you’ll support and shape the group-wide strategic agenda, working closely with executive leadership and other senior stakeholders across the business. Own and drive high impact analytical and cross-functional workstreams, translating complex market dynamics, geopolitical developments, and internal performance insights into clear strategic recommendations. Drive engagement and agreement between key stakeholders across the business to support effective execution aligned with corporate priorities. Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, influencing decision making through robust analysis, clear communication, and strong commercial judgement. Mentor and develop strategy colleagues to build organisational capability.

What You’ll Do
- Strategy Formation and Implementation - Develop tactical plans for optimizing resources and assets being managed within a significant area or department.
- Policy Development and Implementation - Develop procedures and interpret and apply policy for area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, or advise the wider business on application of policy, then monitor implementation of those procedures within the organization.
- Recommendations - Provide integrated, long-term solutions and strategies for a significant area of responsibility, such as a function.
- Leadership and Direction - Identify and communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the business area or department; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these tenets and do extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.
- Strategic Planning - Manage an element of the organization's strategic planning. This could involve being responsible for development or delivery or both.
- Strategic Analysis - Interpret the strategic need and identify solution recommendations to strategic challenges at a business unit level. Assess key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to support strategic decision making and lead the improvement efforts to be made that are within the span of control at this level.

For example, provides guidance so that others understand the needs of different stakeholders and can balance them appropriately. Makes sure people understand and adhere to ethical standards when working with stakeholders; models and ensures cross-cultural sensitivity.
- Plans and Aligns - Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals. For example, stays focused on plans and improvises in response to changes, including risks and contingencies. Aligns own team's work with other workgroups'. Looks ahead to determine and obtain needed resources to complete plans.

Due to the nature of the industry that Urenco operates in, all personnel regardless of employment status working for Urenco are required to obtain security clearance at the level required for their role. Security clearances are assessed in accordance with regulations and official guidance issued by the relevant competent authorities for national security vetting. In certain circumstances, additional enhanced security clearance considerations apply to roles within Urenco owing to the particular activities that the Urenco Group undertakes in relation to uranium enrichment. Successful candidates will need to satisfy security requirements, and all offers of appointment are made subject to the successful approval of all checks initiated.
