We have partnered with a reputable relationship-led financial institution seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to help shape and deliver its long-term customer strategic agenda.
Working closely with executive leadership, this role combines corporate strategy, customer strategy, commercial insight, market analysis, proposition development, and strategic execution. It offers a unique opportunity to influence business direction while remaining hands-on in delivery and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate & Business Strategy
- Lead strategic workstreams from problem definition through to recommendation and implementation.
- Develop evidence-based insights to support growth, operating model decisions, and strategic priorities.
- Translate strategic ambitions into clear, measurable initiatives.

Customer & Market Insight
- Conduct customer, competitor, and market analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Develop customer segmentation strategies and identify attractive growth markets.
- Lead customer research initiatives and ensure insights are embedded into strategic decisions.
- Monitor industry developments and emerging trends, including technology and digital innovation.
Proposition Development & Commercial Growth
- Support the design of customer propositions, pricing strategies, and commercial initiatives.
- Partner with product, commercial, technology, and operational teams to bring propositions to market.
- Evaluate performance and continuously refine offerings based on feedback and results.
Strategic Delivery
- Track strategic initiatives, managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder engagement.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure successful execution of key programmes.
- Maintain ownership from initial strategy through to implementation and delivery.

About You
You are likely to bring:
- Significant experience within financial services, banking, wealth management, or strategy consulting.
- A proven track record delivering strategic projects from inception through execution.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience conducting customer, market, and competitor research.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- The versatility to work across multiple strategic topics simultaneously.
