Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.
Role Overview
Managing projects to deliver agreed outcomes on time, within budget and quality standards. Coordinating stakeholders to achieve KPIs, manage risks and change, and provide day-to-day leadership. Ensuring fee expectations are met while driving excellence, accountability, and sustainable impact aligned with Mace’s values and client ambitions.

Role Function/Deliverables
- Maintaining and ensuring up-to-date design deliverables for the Site Establishment phase are available for the Delivery team
- Managing the P6 design from fencing supplier through the design assurance process to become passported design for construction
- Assisting the SZC Project manager and Commercial manager on delivery of sitewide security fencing works
- Producing and maintaining drawing registers on various contract packages to ensure contractors are supplied with correct design info
- Utilising Propeller with all latest design models to support the Delivery team
- Setting up and managing the SharePoint for external parties while info on Teamcenter is not accessible for them
- Producing assessment on as-constructed info from contractors against the design
- Providing clarification on design queries and supporting the Delivery team to raise relevant RFI / FCR
- Assisting the SZC Procurement and Commercial teams on sharing design, scoping and assessment during tender stage
Value for Money Statement
- Maintaining control and coordination of design data from the SZC designer to contractors and procurement pre contract
- Playing a key role to maintain drawing register and distribute design updates in the absence of a document control system
- Maintaining design models up-date to support the Delivery team (i.e. design models on Propeller)
