I’m currently working with a genuinely forward-thinking structural engineering consultancy in Central London that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team.

The Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you’ll work on a range of challenging retrofit and refurbishment projects across London, taking a hands-on role from early design through to delivery.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Work on complex and interesting retrofit projects across Central London
- Take responsibility for your own projects and develop client relationships
- Work closely with architects, contractors and other consultants
- Provide technical input and help develop innovative structural solutions
- Support and mentor more junior engineers
- Play an active role in the company’s sustainability-led approach
- Take on increasing responsibility as your career develops

About You
You'll ideally be a Senior Structural Engineer with consultancy experience, with a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and experience working on refurbishment, retrofit or existing buildings projects.
You'll also be:
- Chartered or working towards chartership
- Technically strong and confident in your engineering ability
- Comfortable dealing with clients and other project stakeholders
- Interested in sustainable structural engineering
- Ambitious and keen to progress
- Someone who values working as part of a genuinely collaborative team
