Senior Structural Engineer

Due to a number of recent international project awards, we are looking for a hardworking and capable Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in either Aberdeen or Glasgow.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Lead Engineer, helping to mentor and support the younger members of the team, as well as taking ownership of projects from concept through to execution.

Key Experience

  • Offshore structural and mechanical design
  • Structural vessel and equipment experience
  • Fabrication support and offshore exposure
  • Competent in structural assessment and design verification
  • Experience with FEA tools including Ansys and Strand7
  • Familiarity with offshore design codes and standards

  • Strong communication and technical reporting skills
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers
  • Working knowledge of DNV and AISC design codes
  • Offshore certified and willing to travel

  • Degree in one or more of the following:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Structural Engineering
    • Civil Engineering
    • Naval Architecture
