About The Role
The Senior Structural Engineer position in Cardiff offers a permanent, full-time contract with a salary between £40,000 and £60,000, plus hybrid working, 25 days of holiday, and healthcare. Projects come from various sectors and range up to £100m, they include:
- Local schools
- Hospitals
- Healthcare facilities
- Local authorities
As a senior technician, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Producing detailed structural calculations
- Liaising with clients, contractors and Architects
- Building relationships with clients and handling queries
- Attending design team meetings
- Attending site visits
- Mentoring and assisting in the development of Graduate Engineers
A key factor for this role is someone who enjoys interactions with other staff and industry peers. Building and maintaining relationships is a key part of the company ethos.

Essential Criteria For This Role

- Degree educated, BEng/BSc minimum
- Chartered with ICE or IStructE, preferred but not essential
- Design experience across the sectors listed above
- Knowledge of Eurocodes
- Knowledge of BIM
- Working experience with all traditional materials
