An exceptional opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer looking to work on high-profile building structures projects with one of the industry's most respected engineering consultancies.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will join a collaborative and technically strong team delivering challenging projects across commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and mixed-use developments. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, take ownership of projects, and accelerate your progression towards leadership.
Senior Structural Engineer Responsibilities
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:
- Lead the design and delivery of building structures projects.
- Produce structural calculations, reports, and technical designs.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, and client relationships.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Deliver projects using industry-leading engineering software and BIM workflows.

Senior Structural Engineer Requirements
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will ideally have:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience working within a UK structural engineering consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry design.
- Experience managing projects from concept through to construction.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Progress towards Chartered Engineer status or already Chartered.
