SENIOR/PRINCIPAL STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

£65k plus benefits

Well established and respected practice in rural Leicestershire with a healthy workload of structural engineering surveys and assessments of both residential and commercial buildings seek an experienced Structural Engineer.

This is seen as a key appointment and calls for a well-seasoned Structural Engineer with eight or more years` experience in the UK.

The practice has developed a reputation for high quality reporting of all types of buildings including period properties, timber framed, non-traditional and modern-day construction with commercial and industrial buildings added to the mix. There may also be follow up design work to provide solutions to more complex building defects.

The practice use state of the art report software to increase their efficiency and accuracy on site followed up with a high-quality presented report.

Key to the role will be conducting site surveys and the preparation of written engineering reports. Additionally preparing reports to include pre-sale, insurance related, feasibility studies and due diligence as well as additional design work.

As an experienced Engineer of preferably 8 years you will have extensive report writing experience and an interest in forensic surveying with the ability to operate independently and contribute to the business where you have the opportunity to become a Partner in the practice.
