Structural Engineer (Chartered or Near Chartered)

Our client is a growing Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Cambridge, seeking a talented Chartered or Near Chartered Structural Engineer to join the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking to work on a diverse portfolio of challenging and rewarding projects across multiple sectors. The workload includes a broad range of developments, from residential and commercial schemes to education, healthcare, industrial and heritage projects, offering genuine variety and technical interest.

The Role

You will take a leading role in the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to construction, working closely with clients, architects and fellow consultants. The position offers significant responsibility, client exposure and opportunities for career progression within a supportive and collaborative environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Chartered Engineer (MIStructE/MICE) or working towards Chartership.
  • Strong experience in the design of structures using mainstream construction materials, including steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Experience using industry-standard structural analysis and design software.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to engineering.
