Senior Structural Engineer

Are you a Structural Engineer with 6-8 years of consulting experience? Looking for your next step in a growing team where you can take ownership of projects and develop your leadership skills?

We are seeking an ambitious Senior Structural Engineer to join our London team, working predominantly across UK residential and commercial projects. The role offers a balance of responsibility, collaboration and flexibility, with approximately 75% of your time based onsite in London and 25% available to work remotely.

As part of a growing international business, you will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to Australian projects and collaborate with our team in Adelaide. For those who may wish to explore an international move in the future, there is also the option to relocate to Australia after building experience within the UK team, with visa sponsorship and relocation support available.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to be the main point of contact and project lead for your projects
  • Design and documentation of London and Adelaide based residential projects, from concept to construction phase assistance
  • Design and documentation of London and Adelaide based commercial projects, from concept to construction phase assistance
  • Manage a team of design engineers and drafters
  • Carry out site visits & inspections

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years experience in a design consultancy
  • Experienced in architecturally lead private residential new builds; alterations and additions
  • Experienced in commercial projects, consisting of steel frame, concrete frame and precast.
  • Competent in timber, steel, masonry and concrete design
  • A keen eye for detail

Salary

Between £45,000- £55,000 + Bonuses.
