Senior Structural Engineer

An established and highly respected engineering consultancy with offices around the UK is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its growing Newcastle team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered or near-Chartered engineer looking to take a leading role in the delivery of diverse and technically challenging projects across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers

Key Duties

  • Work on a wide variety of projects
  • Manage your own workload
  • Be client-facing

Requirements

  • Produce and review calculations, reports, specifications, and drawings
  • Ensure the highest standards of technical excellence and project delivery

Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience of structural design in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber
  • Proficiency with software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, and Tedds
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
