Senior Structural Engineer
An established and highly respected engineering consultancy with offices around the UK is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its growing Newcastle team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered or near-Chartered engineer looking to take a leading role in the delivery of diverse and technically challenging projects across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients
- Lead and mentor junior engineers
Key Duties
- Work on a wide variety of projects
- Manage your own workload
- Be client-facing
Requirements
- Produce and review calculations, reports, specifications, and drawings
- Ensure the highest standards of technical excellence and project delivery
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience of structural design in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber
- Proficiency with software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, and Tedds
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
