Senior Structural Technician - Data Centres

Location: Any UK Office (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity

We're partnering with a highly respected structural engineering consultancy that is continuing to grow its Data Centre team following a number of major project wins across the UK and Europe.
They are looking for a Senior Structural Technician to play a key role in delivering large-scale, technically challenging projects for leading hyperscale and mission-critical clients.
This role offers hybrid working with the flexibility to be based from any of the company's UK offices, providing an excellent work-life balance alongside exciting project exposure.

The Role

As a Senior Structural Technician, you'll be responsible for producing and coordinating high-quality structural models and drawings using Revit, while working closely with structural engineers and multidisciplinary design teams.

You'll take ownership of project deliverables, support junior technicians where required, and ensure BIM standards and project deadlines are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and coordinate detailed structural models and drawings using Revit.
  • Lead the BIM delivery of complex structural projects.
  • Work closely with structural engineers, architects and MEP teams throughout the design process.
  • Ensure all drawings meet company and project quality standards.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary models and resolve design clashes.
  • Support and mentor junior technicians where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of Data Centre and mission-critical developments.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Senior Structural Technician within a structural engineering consultancy.
  • Advanced knowledge of Revit.
  • Proven experience delivering Data Centre or other complex building projects.
  • Strong understanding of structural steelwork and reinforced concrete detailing.
  • Experience working within BIM environments.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage workload across multiple projects.
