We’re currently looking for a Senior Structural Technician to join a busy structural engineering team in Bristol.
The role will be focused on producing detailed structural drawings and 3D models, working closely with structural engineers across a range of building projects.
The role:
- Producing accurate 2D structural drawings and 3D Revit models
- Working across steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry structures
- Producing reinforced concrete detailing and schedules
- Working closely with engineers to develop practical and buildable designs
- Supporting BIM coordination and working to project BIM standards
- Liaising with BIM coordinators and the wider design team
- Helping to mentor junior technicians and apprentices
- Working with project CDEs and maintaining good document control

About you:
- Strong experience working as a Structural Technician
- Excellent Autodesk Revit skills
- Good understanding of structural detailing and construction techniques
- Experience working with steel and reinforced concrete structures
- Good understanding of BIM and CDE processes
- Able to work independently while also supporting the wider team
- Strong attention to detail and good organisation

Experience with CADS RC and/or Dynamo would be an advantage but isn't essential.
