We’re currently looking for a Senior Structural Technician to join a busy structural engineering team in Bristol.

The role will be focused on producing detailed structural drawings and 3D models, working closely with structural engineers across a range of building projects.

The role:

  • Producing accurate 2D structural drawings and 3D Revit models
  • Working across steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry structures
  • Producing reinforced concrete detailing and schedules
  • Working closely with engineers to develop practical and buildable designs
  • Supporting BIM coordination and working to project BIM standards
  • Liaising with BIM coordinators and the wider design team
  • Helping to mentor junior technicians and apprentices
  • Working with project CDEs and maintaining good document control

About you:

  • Strong experience working as a Structural Technician
  • Excellent Autodesk Revit skills
  • Good understanding of structural detailing and construction techniques
  • Experience working with steel and reinforced concrete structures
  • Good understanding of BIM and CDE processes
  • Able to work independently while also supporting the wider team
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisation
