Role Purpose

The Senior Stylist ensures the Love & Roses brand’s narrative is visually compelling, executing and overseeing seasonal styling and creative projects. Your role includes:

  • Shaping and elevating contemporary styling across editorials, campaigns, and editorial shoots.
  • Maintaining on-brand consistency through sophisticated styling while aligning with product representation and demand.
  • Developing the brand’s styling identity through meticulous selection that reflects our customers’ aspirations while ensuring commercial relevance.

Responsibilities

Creative Styling & Brand DNA

  • Expand your expertise in the brand’s aesthetic to embody its personality.
  • Align stylistic choices with destination and season projections.
  • Develop 10–12 unique Styling Profiles, ensuring thematically consistent wardrobes that reflect the Love & Roses ethos.
  • Serve as an advocate for clarity and innovation in styling details (e.g., proportion, proportion, fit).

Shoot Planning & Execution

  • Define styling direction for e-commerce, campaign, and creative shoots, ensuring key visual consistency.
  • Prepare and submit distinctive style decks ensuring buy-in for campaigns from stakeholders.
  • Attend vision meetings to balance seasonal trends with brand heritage, acting as a forward-thinking stylist.
  • Operate flexibly across studios, offices, and global markets when required.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Liaise with Creative & Buying Teams to fine-tune staging around product.
  • Mentor the internal styling team, bridging gaps between junior and senior colleagues.
  • Chair and participate in monthly shoot feedback sessions to strengthen strategy for future shoots.
  • Nurture strong relationships with all studio and team members.

Technical Requirements

The ideal candidate must:

  • Leading creative authority: Proven track record overseeing styling independently, not in a support role.
  • Visual intuition: Expertise in translating trends and brands into aspirational visuals.
  • Detail-oriented: Passion for aesthetics and flawless execution.
  • Networking & communication: Strong stakeholder management through clear dialogue.
  • Prioritization & adaptability: Navigate fast-paced workspaces with efficiency.
  • Collaborative mindset: Ability to support and grow a positive, trusting team culture across the company.
