Senior Supply Chain Analyst (Rail)

Location: London

Salary: £65,000–£75,000 DOE – open to negotiation

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time

We are recruiting a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to support supply chain performance, forecasting and data analysis within a high-speed rail environment.

You will analyse supply chain data, develop KPIs and dashboards, improve forecasting accuracy and provide insight to support Materials, Stores, Procurement and Supply Chain Planning teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor Supply Chain KPIs and supplier scorecards.
  • Analyse supplier performance, parts availability, stock levels and forecast accuracy.
  • Run and optimise forecasting and replenishment processes for train spare parts.
  • Develop and maintain Supply Chain dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Analyse stocktake results and identify corrective actions.
  • Develop and monitor forecast accuracy and data-quality measures.
  • Provide reporting and analysis to support Materials, Stores and Procurement.
  • Work with IT to resolve Supply Chain data and system issues.
  • Support continuous improvement and improve the use of data across the Supply Chain team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant Supply Chain experience, ideally within rail, engineering, manufacturing or MRO.
  • Strong experience in data analysis, forecasting and performance measurement.
  • Good understanding of Supply Chain KPIs, including availability, stock and inventory days.
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI and Access skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Experience developing dashboards and data visualisations.
  • Rail parts, rolling stock or MRO experience is desirable.
  • SQL experience would be advantageous.
