The opportunity you've been waiting for

Good supplier strategy keeps a business running smoothly. This role is where that strategy gets built. You would own the tenders and supplier relationships that matter most, working with a business that takes procurement seriously and gives the function real influence.

It is a senior role with genuine scope, leading strategic tenders end to end, building relationships with suppliers that matter, and shaping the commercial insight that senior leaders rely on.

How you'll make your mark

You will lead strategic and business critical tenders end to end, from shaping requirements through to contract award, working closely with the market and with internal stakeholders across the business.

Key deliverables

  • Build category strategies for key areas of spend, grounded in market analysis, business demand and risk profile.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, including contract variations, price reviews and supplier issue resolution.
  • Strengthen resilience across strategic suppliers, covering financial stability, cyber risk, business continuity and exit planning.
  • Turn spend, performance and risk data into commercial insight that senior stakeholders use to make decisions.
  • Coach colleagues across procurement and contract management to build capability across the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Denholm's take

What stands out here is the scope. This is a role with strategic tenders, meaningful supplier relationships, and a seat close enough to leadership that your insight genuinely shapes decisions.
