Senior Supply Chain Manager | Masafina | West London (On-site)

About Masafina

Masafina makes authentic Mexican food in the UK: heirloom corn tortillas, Northern Mexican wheat flour tortillas, salsas and heritage ingredients, supplied to some of the UK’s top chefs.

Our founders spent five months travelling across Mexico sourcing traditional recipes, pre-Hispanic growing methods and suppliers who work in sustainable, time-honoured ways, and we mirror those processes here in the UK. MD Laura was formerly Product Director at the Belazu Ingredient Company, while co-founder Andrea comes from a family of Mexican chefs.

Backed by investors with deep food manufacturing expertise, and following three strong years of trading, we are now entering an exciting scale-up phase.

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of Masafina’s end-to-end supply chain across purchasing, demand planning, inventory, warehousing and production.

You will manage a complex supplier and product base spanning long-lead international imports, UK suppliers, ingredients, packaging and finished goods, ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time while maintaining accuracy and controlling cost.

This is a broad, hands-on role within an entrepreneurial SME. You will work closely with the founders, operations and finance teams, combining day-to-day supply chain management with the opportunity to improve systems, reporting, processes and ways of working as the business scales.

We are looking for someone who is highly numerical, commercially minded and comfortable getting into the detail, but who can also step back, identify opportunities for improvement and bring different departments together to deliver projects from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain, spanning purchasing, demand planning, inventory, warehousing, production requirements and supplier management.
  • Manage purchasing and supplier relationships across Masafina’s UK and international supply chains, including long-lead imports from Mexico.
  • Own demand planning across multiple suppliers, SKUs, ingredients, packaging requirements and BOMs, translating forecasts into accurate purchasing and production plans.
  • Place purchase orders, track confirmations and proactively manage lead times, particularly across longer international supply cycles.
  • Coordinate international logistics and customs requirements, managing inbound deliveries from port through to warehouse.
  • Act as the guardian of stock accuracy, overseeing stock levels, rotation, reconciliations, write-offs and inventory integrity.
  • Work closely with warehouse and production teams to investigate stock discrepancies, identify root causes and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Own and optimise Masafina’s inventory and stock management systems, currently Cin7 Core, ensuring the system is being used effectively and identifying opportunities for better processes, automation and data flow.
  • Build and maintain reporting covering stock, purchasing, demand, supplier performance and operational KPIs.
  • Use data and reporting to analyse performance, identify inefficiencies and improve stock accuracy, operational efficiency and cost control.
  • Partner closely with finance, ensuring purchasing, inventory and stock data is accurate and supporting analysis around margins, variances and cost.
  • Lead cross-functional supply chain projects, bringing together production, warehouse, finance and other teams to improve how the end-to-end operation works.
  • Drive EPD (Existing Product Development) and cost-saving initiatives across both products manufactured in-house and finished goods purchased externally.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supplier terms, packaging, processes and purchasing decisions without compromising quality or service.
  • Manage and develop team members within the supply chain and operations function, creating clear ownership and accountability.
  • Present insights, recommendations and areas for improvement clearly to the founders and wider leadership team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock control, including investigating discrepancies, improving stock accuracy and resolving root causes.

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects, bringing different departments together to deliver improvements across the end-to-end supply chain.
  • A proactive EPD and cost-saving mentality, with experience identifying efficiencies across both internally manufactured products and externally sourced finished goods.
  • A hands-on, practical approach and the willingness to operate at both a strategic and detailed level in a growing business.
