This mindset goes beyond our customer solutions. It is the foundation for your career development, the impact we have within our communities, and the opportunities we create for our people to grow and thrive.

Opportunity Overview

This is more than just a job; it’s a mission.

As Senior Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a pivotal leadership role within our Supply Chain function, leading the team responsible for supporting programmes from initial business capture through delivery and closeout. You'll help shape supply chain strategy, strengthen supplier partnerships, drive commercial value, and ensure our programmes have the support they need to succeed.

Working closely with business leaders, programme teams, business development, and suppliers, you'll influence critical decisions, remove delivery barriers, and help Northrop Grumman UK achieve operational excellence across a complex and dynamic portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supply chain leader who enjoys developing high-performing teams, driving continuous improvement, and delivering meaningful business outcomes within the defence and technology sectors.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Supply Chain Programmes team, driving capability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute supply chain management plans that support business winning activities and successful programme delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to remove obstacles, manage risk, and maximise value across programmes.
  • Build and strengthen strategic supplier relationships, negotiating agreements that support long-term business objectives.
  • Deliver measurable cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and KPI-driven outcomes.
  • Support organisational development, process improvement initiatives, and the delivery of the wider Supply Chain strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
