Senior Supply Planner

Surrey Based
Salary up to £50,000

We’re supporting a food business in the search for a Senior Supply Planner to manage a varied product portfolio and help develop its planning capability.

You’ll take ownership of replenishment, supplier performance and inventory control, ensuring customer demand is met while managing costs and supply risks. Alongside your own portfolio, you’ll support other planners and work closely with commercial and operational colleagues.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain supply plans using demand forecasts, supplier lead times and agreed inventory targets.
  • Monitor availability and stock levels, taking action to prevent shortages and reduce excess or ageing inventory.
  • Manage supplier relationships, challenge delivery delays and agree practical recovery plans.
  • Anticipate production and logistics constraints, presenting clear options to minimise disruption.
  • Coordinate purchasing requirements for promotions, product launches and changes to the range.
  • Provide analysis to support supplier selection, negotiations and wider purchasing decisions.
  • Keep planning information accurate and communicate risks, priorities and actions across the business.
  • Coach less experienced planners and improve processes, reporting and system use.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
