Job Description

Oracle Health is working to shape the future of healthcare through human-centric experiences powered by unified global data. Our work connects clinical, operational and financial information to help improve care and decision-making for patients, providers, payers and communities.

Role Overview

As a Senior Support Engineer in the Support Services team in London, you will provide specialist support for Foreign System Interface (FSI) capabilities within Cerner Millennium. You will help international healthcare customers resolve complex technical issues, maintain critical interfaces and support reliable services that enable better healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary contact for customers, building trusted relationships and responding to FSI service requests, change requests and enquiries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex issues across front-end and back-end applications, escalating advanced technical issues to the appropriate teams when required.
  • Manage service requests in line with service level agreements and key performance indicators, prioritising work by severity and urgency.
  • Communicate progress and resolutions clearly to customers and internal collaborators, ensuring issues are fully addressed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to report design, reliability and maintenance issues, and contribute to the resolution of routine and non-routine problems.
  • Document investigation notes, activities, resolutions and knowledge articles throughout the service request lifecycle.
  • Maintain registration and scheduling, orders, results and documentation interfaces, including ADT, SIU, ORM, ORU and MDM message types.
  • Support interface monitoring and post-go-live maintenance to help maintain system reliability and performance.
  • Analyse and execute ad-hoc Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts to resolve technical issues and improve system functionality.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support outside normal business hours as needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
