Bright Futures - Senior Support Worker in Widnes

At Bright Futures, we champion the potential of every person with autism and a learning disability, believing wholeheartedly in their ability to thrive and lead the most fulfilling lives. We're looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in Widnes.

Our Widnes Children's home is a large, detached property supporting five children aged 7-18 with a diagnosis of autism and learning disabilities. The home has an enclosed, spacious garden with swing, slide, and climbing frame. It is surrounded by countryside but within close proximity to Widnes town centre. The children love taking part in activities in the local area including ice skating, trampoline parks, and swimming. The home is also only 5 miles from Liverpool John Lennon Airport and the children love watching planes land and take off from the garden.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
