Shift times: Typically 7:45am – 8:15pm
Hourly Rate: £14.81/hr (plus enhanced rates for Bank Holidays and Overtime)

At Oak House, we’re looking for a passionate, energetic and caring Senior Support Worker to join our fantastic team supporting adults with complex physical disabilities, learning disabilities and sensory impairments.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide outstanding support to adults with complex needs
- Lead by example on shift and support the day-to-day running of the home
- Coach, mentor and supervise Support Workers
- Support with care planning, audits and quality assurance activities
- Administer and oversee medication safely
- Promote independence, choice and dignity in everything you do
- Work closely with therapists, families and multidisciplinary professionals
- Help create a safe, positive and engaging environment where people can flourish
- Support residents to enjoy social activities, hobbies and community experiences
What We’re Looking For

Ideally You’ll Have
- Previous experience within a care or support environment
- Experience supporting people with complex needs, disabilities or additional needs
- NVQ Level 3 in Care (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards it
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Good IT and record-keeping skills
- A positive, resilient and caring nature

We will pay for your initial DBS check, unless you have a portable DBS, however, if the candidate leaves voluntarily within the first 12 months, £58.90 will be deducted from your final salary payment.
