Senior Support Worker

Salary

£14 ph, plus additional sleepovers paid at £67 per night

Location

East Lancs, BB5 1LP

Hours

Full time, 37 hours per week

Contract

Permanent

About the Role

You will be expected to assist the Team Leader in the supervision and development of specialist staff, management of service rotas, development, and delivery of support packages. You will have flexibility to work evenings and alternate weekends and take the responsibility of the on-call service on a shared rota basis.

About You

This role requires a Diploma or NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Adult Care. You will need significant experience of supporting people with complex needs and have a real desire to work with an excellent and positive team.

You will be able to demonstrate good organizational skills, leadership, communication skills, and a willingness to work closely with colleagues and Team Leaders to ensure the effective and smooth running of the Service.

About the Organisation

The organization provides specialist support services for people with learning disabilities and complex needs. Its dedicated teams are committed to delivering person-centered support that promotes independence, dignity, and inclusion, while creating a positive and supportive working environment for staff.

Communication will be via BSL, so video calls are available by prior arrangement via email.
