Senior Surveyor – Land & Property Advice

About the Role

As a Senior Surveyor, you’ll contribute expert knowledge in land and property advice, delivering key projects to meet client deadlines and objectives with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality land and property advice and services, representing clients’ best interests
  • Lead and manage a range of complex schemes, ensuring exceptional standards of work
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, landowners, and internal/external stakeholders
  • Provide constructive line management for junior team members, including:
    • Regular progress reviews
    • Effective delegation
    • Performance feedback
  • Share expertise within the wider organisation to develop colleagues’ skills and abilities
  • Maintain professional competence through specialised CPD and actively participate in team initiatives
  • Embrace Dalcour Maclaren’s values and foster a positive, collaborative working culture

Essential Requirements

  • MRICS or AssocRICS qualification
  • Full UK driving licence (essential for fieldwork)
  • Proven experience in leading teams, projects, or specialist roles
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a focus on client relationships
  • Ability to deliver results-driven outcomes as part of a team with confidence
