Looking for a role that's a little different? Join a team managing one of the North of England's most diverse coastal estates.

About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Surveyor to play a key role in the management of an established coastal estate on behalf of a prestigious client. This is a unique opportunity to work across a fascinating mix of coastal, marine and infrastructure assets, delivering a broad range of estate management, landlord and tenant, valuation and professional services work.

From jetties, wharfs and marinas to tunnels, bridges, pipelines and commercial property interests, you'll be involved in a highly varied portfolio that combines day-to-day estate management with complex and specialist property matters.

Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of client relationships, contribute to business development initiatives and play an important role in the continued growth of the business. Whether you're looking to broaden your experience within infrastructure or develop expertise in coastal and marine property, this role offers excellent scope for professional development and progression.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of a significant coastal estate across the North of England.
  • Overseeing a diverse portfolio of marine, commercial and infrastructure-related assets, including jetties, wharfs, bridges, tunnels, marinas, moorings, pipelines and cables.
  • Undertaking rent reviews, lease renewals and landlord and tenant matters.
  • Negotiating new leases, licences, disposals, consents and property agreements.
  • Providing estate management, valuation and wider professional property advice.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, tenants and stakeholders.
  • Managing estate issues such as encroachments and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Preparing financial reports, client reports and recommendations.
  • Identifying opportunities to generate new business and supporting the growth of both commercial and infrastructure services.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
