Help shape the future of our homes through high-quality asset data

Are you an experienced property surveyor with strong technical knowledge and a passion for improving the quality, safety and energy performance of homes? Do you have experience carrying out stock condition surveys, HHSRS assessments and EPCs, alongside the ability to lead and develop others?

We’re looking for a Senior Asset Surveyor to join our Assets team, taking a leading role in ensuring we have accurate, reliable and high-quality information about the condition and performance of our homes.

You’ll carry out and oversee stock condition surveys, Housing Health & Safety Rating System (HHSRS) assessments and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), while managing and developing a small team of surveyors.

The information you and your team collect will directly inform our 1-year, 5-year and 30-year stock investment programmes, as well as our approach to energy efficiency and future investment across our housing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive stock condition surveys to assess the age, condition and remaining lifecycle of key building components
  • Carry out HHSRS assessments, identifying and evaluating potential hazards and ensuring homes meet appropriate safety and regulatory standards
  • Produce Energy Performance Certificates in accordance with statutory requirements and organisational objectives
  • Ensure the quality, consistency and accuracy of stock condition surveys, HHSRS assessments and EPCs completed across the team
  • Collect and maintain high-quality asset data to support short, medium and long-term investment planning
  • Provide accurate information and insight to inform A2Dominion’s 1-year, 5-year and 30-year stock investment programmes
  • Support the development of energy efficiency and improvement strategies across the housing portfolio
  • Provide expert technical advice to management on property condition, emerging risks and regulatory compliance
  • Manage, support and develop a small team of Surveyors and Trainee Surveyors, providing technical guidance, training and regular performance feedback

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
