Senior Surveyor / Associate - Office & Industrial Agency
Location: Oxfordshire / Thames Valley
Package: up to £65,000 + Commission + Benefits
Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed on an exciting opportunity to recruit an ambitious Senior Surveyor / Associate to join a highly respected commercial property consultancy with a strong presence across the Oxfordshire and Thames Valley markets.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor looking to develop their profile within the office and industrial sector, working alongside a successful and well-established team with access to a high-quality client base and varied instructions.
About the Role
This position offers predominantly agency and some lease consultancy work across the office and industrial property sectors.
You will advise a range of clients including institutional investors, developers, corporate occupiers, property companies and private investors on acquisitions, disposals, lettings and lease advisory matters. Alongside transactional work, you will provide strategic consultancy advice, helping clients maximise asset performance and achieve their property objectives.
The role offers genuine responsibility from day one, with the opportunity to take ownership of client relationships while contributing to business development and the continued growth of the team.

What You'll Be Doing
- Advising on acquisitions, disposals and lettings of office and industrial property
- Delivering lease renewals, rent reviews and lease restructuring instructions
- Undertaking market appraisals, transactional analysis and financial modelling
- Negotiating lease terms and managing transactions through to completion
- Conducting property inspections and market research
- Providing strategic consultancy advice to maximise asset performance
- Producing high-quality client reports and recommendations
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development, networking and market profile activities
- Working closely with colleagues across agency, investment and professional teams

What They're Looking For
- Experience within commercial property, ideally including agency and lease advisory work
- Knowledge of office and/or industrial property markets
- MRICS qualified preferred, although not essential
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to manage multiple instructions and competing priorities
- High standard of report writing and analytical skills
- Proactive approach to business development and networking
