Job Description
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Surveyor to join our growing Living Capital Markets team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising institutional investors, developers, operators, and private capital clients on the acquisition and disposal of living sector assets across the UK.
Working as part of an established capital markets team, you will originate opportunities, execute transactions, develop client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of our Living platform across Build to Rent (BTR), Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), Co-living, Single Family Housing (SFH), and later living sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the acquisition and disposal of living sector investment assets and portfolios.
- Prepare marketing strategies, information memoranda, financial analysis, and client presentations.
- Undertake market research, pricing analysis, and valuation support to inform client advice.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, developers, operators, and funding partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives.
- Assist in pitching for new instructions and preparing proposals for prospective clients.
- Coordinate transaction processes including due diligence, data room management, and negotiations through to completion.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Capital Markets, Valuation, Development, Planning, and Residential teams.
- Monitor market trends, investor sentiment, and capital flows within the living sector.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development.

About You
You are an ambitious property professional who combines strong technical expertise with commercial awareness and relationship-building skills. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment, take ownership of client relationships, and are motivated by delivering high-quality advice and successful transactions. You are keen to contribute to the continued growth of a leading Living Capital Markets business and to develop your career in one of the fastest-growing sectors of commercial real estate.
Qualifications
- MRICS qualified (or equivalent professional qualification).
- Proven experience within Capital Markets, Investment Agency, or Commercial Agency.
- Strong understanding of the UK living sectors including BTR, PBSA, Co-living, and other operational real estate.
- Demonstrable experience managing investment transactions and advising clients.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to winning and delivering business.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and commitment to exceptional client service.

- Established network of investor and developer relationships within the living sector.
- Experience advising institutional investors and overseas capital.
- Knowledge of operational real estate investment structures and market dynamics.
