About the Role
I’m working with a specialist management agency with an outstanding reputation across Central London’s Grade A office market. They’re looking for a Senior Surveyor to join their team and take responsibility for a portfolio of eight high-quality, multi-let office assets across the West End and City, with individual assets exceeding 100,000 sq ft.
This is a genuinely interesting portfolio where you’ll have the opportunity to get much closer to the assets, clients and wider commercial strategy.
Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
- Day-to-day management of a portfolio of Grade A, multi-let offices
- Service charge budgeting, management and reconciliations
- Working closely with occupiers and managing key stakeholder relationships
- Supporting lease renewals, regears and rent reviews
- Working alongside high-calibre asset managers on wider asset management initiatives
- Getting involved in refurbishments, ESG strategies and placemaking projects
- Building strong relationships with a sophisticated client base including private clients, high-net-worth individuals and trusts

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why This Role Stands Out?
They’re looking for someone who is quick on their feet, commercially switched on and confident operating across high-quality assets. You’ll need solid commercial property management experience, but just as importantly, they want someone who wants to understand the bigger picture around how an asset performs and how it can be improved.
