Newmark is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to Senior Associate-level professional to join our established Residential Investment team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious surveyor with direct experience in the residential investment market to work alongside a market-leading team advising institutional, private equity, property company and private capital clients across a broad range of residential investment opportunities.
The successful candidate will be involved in the origination and execution of investment transactions, providing detailed market analysis, investment advice and financial appraisal across a range of residential sectors. This will include build-to-rent, PRS, affordable housing, student accommodation and wider residential investment strategies.

Key responsibilities
- Advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of residential investment opportunities.
- Preparing investment appraisals, cash flow analysis, comparable evidence and market commentary.
- Undertaking detailed analysis of income, yields, capital values and investment returns.
- Supporting the preparation of investment memoranda, marketing strategies and client presentations.
- Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, investors and other market participants.
- Contributing to business development and identifying new investment opportunities.

About you
- Senior Surveyor to Senior Associate-level experience within residential investment.
- Strong technical understanding of residential investment markets and transaction processes.
- Demonstrable experience in investment agency/advisory and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical, numerical and report-writing skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to communicate complex investment analysis clearly.
- RICS qualification preferred, although relevant market experience will be considered.
