About the Role:
We're looking for a Senior Sustainability Consultant to lead and grow our ISSB (International Sustainability Standards Board) reporting and climate risk advisory work. This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who wants to take ownership of the ISSB vertical — combining deep technical delivery with business development, to build out this part of our business from the ground up.
You'll work directly with clients on end-to-end ISSB reporting and climate risk assessment projects, while also driving new business development to grow our client base within the ISSB space, and shaping our methodology, propositions, and team capability as the vertical grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of ISSB reporting projects for clients, from scoping through to final reporting
- Conduct climate risk assessments and integrate findings into ISSB-aligned disclosures
- Own the ISSB vertical — shaping methodology, tools, and go-to-market approach
- Drive business development: identifying, pitching, and winning new clients for ISSB delivery
- Act as a technical authority on ISSB and related standards for both clients and internal teams
- Manage client relationships directly, including senior stakeholders
- Mentor and guide junior team members working on ISSB and climate-related projects
- Contribute to broader firm strategy on sustainability reporting and climate risk services

What You'll Bring:
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainability, with a strong, demonstrable track record delivering ISSB reports and running end-to-end ISSB projects
- Strong personal knowledge of the ISSB standards, gained through hands-on application rather than training alone
- Experience conducting climate risk assessments
- A genuine interest in building out a service offering, including winning new business — not just delivering within an existing one
- An entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable taking ownership, making decisions, and driving initiatives with limited oversight
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate technical detail for varied stakeholders and pitch to prospective clients
- Strong analytical skills and close attention to detail
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growing team
- A degree in Environmental Sciences, Geography, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Fluency in English is essential
