Senior Systems Analyst | Belfast - Hybrid or Remote (must be based in Northern Ireland)
About the role
As a Senior Systems Analyst, you'll be placed with a key client, acting as their go-to expert for sourcing and setting up new equipment. You'll shape the client's experience, using modern technology to assess their environment and make recommendations based on their needs.
This is a level 2-3 support role. You'll need a good understanding of Windows 10 and 11, experience with a ticketing system and excellent communication skills, along with a professional, courteous approach and a drive to keep improving.
What you'll do
- Provide global end-user and desktop support across all offices, remote users and executive leadership
- Support Office 365 and Windows 10, and manage Active Directory and Exchange Online
- Manage and support Citrix Cloud/Azure VDA/VDI platforms
- Support HP workstations and thin clients, and Lenovo laptops
- Administer Cisco VoIP phones, Cisco Unified CM and Unity Connection
- Support iOS and Android devices through MobileIron MDM
- Support video conferencing (Zoom, Neat, Poly) and market data applications such as Bloomberg
- Carry out basic network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, slowdowns, VPN/VDI connectivity)
- Log, track and document all tickets through JIRA Service Desk
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding

What you'll bring
- 5+ years' desktop support experience or similar
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- A genuine passion for technology and self-development
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to pick up new environments quickly
- The ability to work independently, multi-task and follow through with attention to detail
- Extensive knowledge of desktop support best practice across hardware and software
- Experience supporting mobile devices and remote users, including VPN/VDI troubleshooting
- PowerShell, scripting, automation or SCCM packaging experience is a plus
