Senior Systems Engineer
Bristol
£48,000 - £53,000 + bonus and benefits
We’re recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer to join a high-technology engineering business developing advanced equipment for the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
Working within the systems engineering and product development teams, you’ll play a key role across the full systems lifecycle — from requirements definition and system architecture through to integration, verification and validation.
You’ll be involved in:
- Developing and managing system requirements and architectures.
- Applying Systems Engineering and MBSE methodologies.
- Leading Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities.
- Developing verification and test plans for new products and systems.
- Ensuring designs meet requirements, standards and regulatory expectations.
- Working closely with engineering, project and product development teams.

We’re looking for:
- A degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in Systems Engineering, Integration, Verification & Validation or a related engineering environment.
- Experience with requirements, system architecture and verification/testing.
- Experience in a regulated or compliance-driven engineering environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of MBSE, INCOSE or ISO 15288 would be advantageous.
- A structured, analytical approach with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
