Senior Systems Engineer – Subsea Production Controls
📍 Location: Nailsea, UK
📅 Contract Duration: 12 Months
We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Subsea Production Control Systems to join a leading engineering organisation supporting both tendering activities and project execution for complex subsea control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering input for subsea production control system tenders.
- Review client technical specifications and prepare tender documentation, technical write-ups and risk registers.
- Work closely with commercial and engineering teams to develop competitive technical solutions.
- Support client technical discussions and negotiations.
- Deliver systems engineering activities throughout project execution.
- Develop system architecture, requirements and functional design specifications.
- Manage requirements, verification and validation activities.
- Support system integration, testing and acceptance.
- Apply systems engineering methodologies including requirements management, configuration management and risk management.
- Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related discipline.
- Significant experience with Subsea Production Control Systems.
- Strong Systems Engineering background.
- Experience with requirements management, system integration and verification & validation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.
- Strong prioritisation and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
