🚨 Hiring: Senior Systems Engineer – Subsea Production Controls 🚨 📍 Location: Nailsea / Aberdeen, UK 💰 Rate: £45/hour 📅 Duration: 12 Months ⚡ Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer – Subsea Production Controls to support both tendering and project execution activities within a leading engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support subsea control system design studies and tender activities.
  • Review client specifications and produce technical documentation, risk registers, and engineering deliverables.
  • Lead technical execution of tender proposals and support client discussions to develop optimal technical solutions.
  • Support the design and development of subsea control systems using a Systems Engineering approach.
  • Manage requirements, system architecture, design reviews, verification & validation activities, and system integration phases.
  • Ensure technical compliance, risk mitigation, and controlled design changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

  • Degree qualified in an Engineering or Marine discipline.
  • Significant experience within Subsea Control Systems.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Subsea Systems Engineering.
  • Strong background in Subsea Production Controls and Control System Engineering.
  • Experience producing technical documentation, specifications, and engineering deliverables.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.

Preferred Experience

  • Tendering experience.
  • Subsea Systems Delivery experience.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it).

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in Subsea Control Systems, strong technical documentation skills, and the ability to engage effectively with customers, stakeholders, and project teams throughout both the tendering and execution lifecycle.
