🚀 Senior Systems Engineer
BAE Systems | New Malden
Duration: 12 months
Hourly Rate: £50 PAYE or £67.47 Umbrella
Working Arrangements: 3-4 days per week on site
We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join the BAE Systems team in New Malden, helping to develop and support complex software-based maritime systems that deliver critical capability to our customers.
As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you'll work across the systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements and design through to testing, verification and acceptance.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing and developing system requirements
- Supporting system design and technical investigations
- Leading testing, verification and acceptance activities
- Working across safety, security, performance and human factors considerations
- Collaborating with stakeholders across engineering disciplines
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to fellow engineers

What we're looking for:
- Experience working with software systems and software product development
- Background in systems engineering, requirements management or system design
- Knowledge of engineering disciplines such as safety, security, performance or verification
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a complex project environment
