Reporting to

Digital Product Manager (Casework Support Tools), Information Technology

By joining our team, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds – hybrid working and the collaboration of a great office environment. Our permanent hybrid policy sees us all working at least four days across a fortnight in the office. As well as extensive opportunities for personal and career development.

About Us

The Financial Ombudsman Service is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that plays a vital role in UK financial services. Every day we help resolve disputes between consumers, or small businesses, and their financial service providers.

The Business Applications Team play an important role developing and supporting our business applications, enabling us to deliver services to customers and colleagues.

The Senior Systems Analysts are directly responsible for a number of our core casework-facing business applications, which requires working collaboratively with the wider Business Applications Team.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll provide specialist in-depth direction on the development and maintenance of our Casework Support Tools (in Microsoft Power Platform).

The role will help develop and promote improved Casework Support Tools and associated templates across the organisation. This work crosses the whole organisation – working with subject-matter experts within casework and operational support, the wider IT department, knowledge teams and communities, and other enabling functions.

You’ll deputise for the Digital Product Manager (Casework Support Tools) in their absence and assist them with project workload including leading on delegated work items and projects. Using your experience, you’ll coach and mentor the Systems Analysts to ensure that their delivery and support is of high quality.

You’ll have an expert technical knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (specifically Power Apps and Power Automate) that the organisation uses to create and maintain these tools. You will also have some knowledge of underlying database platforms, such as SQL or Dataverse.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
