Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor – 4 Months FTC
Role Context
Worley is recruiting a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our UK Talent Acquisition team on a fixed term contract. This role can be done on a hybrid/remote working basis from any of our offices across London, Manchester, Stockton, Aberdeen or Glasgow.
This is a business-facing Talent Acquisition partnering role responsible for delivering strategic recruitment support, workforce planning advice and end-to-end hiring solutions across assigned business functions and projects.
We are looking for someone who can deliver high quality technical and professional candidates while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the recruitment selection process. This individual will perform full life cycle recruitment across a range of projects and portfolios and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders.
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the organization has access to optimal talent profiles for the current and long-term business needs. This is achieved by delivering proactive Talent Acquisition services that match resource supply with business demand and utilization of a Direct Sourcing approach to ensure best possible access to key talent across all hiring categories. The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor is accountable for the end-to-end Talent Acquisition process and its outcomes across the location, and will deliver recruitment across all key hiring categories and worker types including contingent, graduate, executive and professional hires.

You'll Be
- Coordinate and have oversight of all resource requirements for your assigned projects or functions.
- Manage a proactive candidate pipeline for specific functions or disciplines to ensure we are meeting the resourcing demands of the business.
- Attract, identify and recruit for both permanent and contingent roles across the projects / functions.
- Actively source passive candidates for all requisitions and present robust shortlists with an appropriate mix of internal, external, active and passive candidates.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, agency suppliers and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.
- Own the delivery of all Talent Acquisition activities within set perimeter to ensure targets for time to offer, time to hire, quality of hire and cost of hire standards are met and in line with Global Talent Acquisition KPI’s.
- Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house systems to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
- Shortlist resumes for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
- Pre-screen candidates ensuring they meet the business standard qualifications and certificates.
- Ensure post-interview feedback is given to the interviewing team & candidates.
- Manage the offer, negotiation, closing processing including required administrative components.
- Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates to ensure a robust and thorough audit trail.
- Champion compliance with Worley policies and procedures throughout the TA lifecycle.
- Promote the Worley brand through a variety of recruitment marketing activities and ensure appropriate marketing of all requisitions assigned utilizing key advertising and social media channels.
You'll Have
- Recruitment experience in an agency or internal environment.
- Proven ability to find and deliver talent on large scale Engineering, Construction, Procurement (EPCM) projects with experience supporting workforce planning, project mobilisation or large-scale recruitment campaigns.
- Extensive Direct Sourcing skills with a proven background in recruitment of passive candidates and knowledge of the latest sourcing platforms.
- Have the capability to manage fast paced high volume positions and work to extremely tight deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and build credibility with senior leaders.
- Experience coaching hiring managers on TA processes, explaining their role within it and creating appropriate target lists and a compelling value proposition to sell to passive candidates.
- A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity and proven organisational skills with attention to detail in administrative components.
- Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates to ensure a robust and thorough audit trail.
- Personal powers of resilience and tenacity; takes personal responsibility for resolving performance issues before they impact on the business; consistently sees things through to completion.
- Experience using recruitment systems, talent analytics and AI-enabled sourcing tools.
- Experience in running early careers programs is highly desirable but not essential.
