About the Role

As the Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will be responsible for attracting and recruiting top talent for our high-profile portfolio of events and attractions, including Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, Hampton Court Palace Festival, the Chimney Lift, Taste of London and Glide. You will play a critical role in partnering with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to understand talent needs, develop recruitment strategies, and execute end-to-end recruitment processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
  • Planning and execution of large-scale recruitment campaigns ensuring the right number of workers are recruited and in place prior to event opening
  • Utilise various sourcing strategies (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals) to identify and engage with potential candidates
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate suitability and fit
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment process, including interviews, assessment events, offer negotiation, and onboarding
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (Workable)
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs
  • For HPWW, contract workers and freelancers and liaise with legal to ensure compliance with IR35, Right to work checks etc.
  • For all other events engage workers through our Worksome platform
  • Develop and execute candidate retention and engagement strategies to increase the percentage of returning staff
  • Provision of management information and recruitment metrics to identify trends or issues that could have a business impact
  • Post event, collate performance data to inform re-hiring strategies, manage talent pools and produce worker feedback surveys for continuous improvement of the worker experience
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovative talent acquisition practices to continually improve recruitment strategies

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the events or entertainment industry
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and recruiting top talent
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices and recruitment tools
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and workforce management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of accountability
  • Experience of supporting contingent workers on-site
