Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant – EMEA

Location: London HQ

Salary: Competitive, DOE

At Spencer Ogden, we're a global recruitment business specialising in the energy and infrastructure sectors. With over 250 employees across 10 offices spanning EMEA, APAC and the Americas, we've built a business that's large enough to offer structure, resources and career progression, while remaining agile enough for every individual to make a real impact.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to lead recruitment across our EMEA region. Reporting to the Head of Talent and working alongside a collaborative Talent team of three, you'll take full ownership of hiring across our London, Glasgow and Düsseldorf offices.

This is more than a recruitment role. You'll act as a trusted partner to hiring managers across the region, driving recruitment strategy, identifying top talent, and influencing hiring decisions. You'll have a seat at the table, contributing to workforce planning, forecasting and broader talent initiatives that support business growth.

You'll also work closely with our Senior Talent Acquisition Lead in New York, providing support across our largest region and building relationships with stakeholders on a global scale.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across the EMEA region, hiring into the sales function from Associate through to Senior level.
  • Proactively source and headhunt high-calibre talent.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including screening, interviewing, offer management and candidate closing.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders across multiple international offices.
  • Support new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment partners where required.
  • Contribute to operational Talent Acquisition activities, including recruitment forecasting, reporting and workforce planning.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the wider People team on talent-related initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
