Role: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are seeking a proactive, confident, and dependable Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the UK recruitment function at Synpulse. In this role, you will combine headhunting, storytelling, and consulting to attract top-tier talent and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. Your mission will be to connect the best talent in the market with Synpulse while acting as a trusted partner to the business, taking ownership of the recruitment process and ensuring agreed processes and standards are consistently followed.
The successful candidate will build strong relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, while having the confidence to provide advice, challenge where required, and ensure a consistent approach to recruitment across the UK.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, either within an agency or in-house environment, managing the full 360° recruitment lifecycle. While there is no fixed minimum threshold of recruitment experience required, candidates for these roles would typically have gained at least four years of relevant recruiting experience (or equivalent experience) in a professional recruitment setting.
- Experience working in consulting, banking, or insurance is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to lead recruitment activity, build strong talent pipelines, and advise hiring managers effectively.
- Experience working in a high-growth or scaling organization, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Strong oral and written communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels, provide advice, challenge constructively, manage expectations, and ensure agreed recruitment processes are followed consistently.
- Familiarity with ATS systems (experience with HiBob is a plus) and using recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory where the candidate has relevant recruitment experience and a demonstrated track record of success.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
