The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Global Talent Acquisition team on a 9-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.

Based in London, this role will primarily support hiring across our Asia Pacific and Middle East offices. Due to the regional coverage, the successful candidate will work 6:00am – 3:00pm UK time, enabling close partnership with hiring managers and stakeholders across multiple time zones.

The successful individual will own and drive full lifecycle recruitment for non-consultant delivery, business support and corporate functions across all of Heidrick & Struggles' business lines, including Executive Search, Leadership Consulting and On-Demand Talent. Acting as a trusted talent advisor, you will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders across the region to attract, assess and hire exceptional talent while delivering an outstanding candidate and stakeholder experience.


Role Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple concurrent, end-to-end recruitment processes across Asia Pacific and the Middle East for non-consultant delivery, business support and corporate roles supporting our Executive Search, Leadership Consulting and On-Demand Talent businesses.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders across the region to understand hiring needs, define recruitment strategies and provide market insights.
  • Lead intake meetings to refine job descriptions, establish search criteria, develop compelling value propositions and agree recruitment strategies and hiring timelines.
  • Establish trusted relationships with stakeholders, acting as a strategic recruitment partner and providing advice on talent assessment, selection and market trends.
  • Develop diverse talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, market mapping, networking and creative search strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
  • Build and strengthen Heidrick & Struggles' employer brand through candidate engagement, networking and talent community development.
  • Deliver a seamless end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing through to offer negotiation, including interview scheduling, stakeholder communication, approvals and maintaining accurate data within Workday and other recruitment systems.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication and professional engagement throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with global Talent Acquisition colleagues to share best practices, sourcing strategies and market intelligence across regions.
  • Build strong internal relationships to encourage internal mobility and employee referral initiatives.
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion by embedding inclusive hiring practices throughout the recruitment process.
  • Champion and exemplify the values of Heidrick & Struggles.
  • Support wider regional and global Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives as required.

Basic Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of agency, in-house recruitment, or a combination of both, with proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent vacancies across a variety of business functions.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior stakeholders and hiring managers in a consultative capacity.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple countries or regions is highly desirable.

Preferred Role Qualifications

  • Previous experience recruiting within a professional services, consulting, executive search or corporate environment.
  • Experience recruiting across Asia Pacific and Middle East is strongly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting business support, corporate and/or professional services functions across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong direct sourcing capabilities, including Boolean searching, market mapping, talent research and proactive headhunting.
  • Excellent understanding of recruitment best practices and candidate assessment methodologies.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across different cultures and time zones.
  • Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, accountability and sound judgement with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering an exceptional stakeholder and candidate experience.

Working Arrangements

  • Location: London, United Kingdom
  • Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover), start date ASAP
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm (UK time) to provide coverage and partnership across the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions.
  • Working Arrangements: Hybrid working in line with Heidrick & Struggles' current flexible working policy.
