Job Description
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will work with QAD business leaders across EMEA as a talent advisor, partnering to fill critical roles across the business. You will bring deep recruiting expertise, a consultative approach, and the ability to independently drive searches from strategy through offer — serving as a trusted resource to HR and hiring leaders throughout the region. Your primary focus will be EMEA, spanning markets across the UK and Europe with occasional support for open roles in the Americas.
What You'll Do
- Embed within the business lines to fully understand business goals, drivers, and needs across EMEA.
- Translate those insights into recruitment strategy to proactively address upcoming and ongoing hiring needs spanning the UK, Europe, and the Americas.
- Provide talent market intelligence and guidance to HR and business leaders helping navigate the nuances of multi-country hiring, compensation benchmarking, and local employment trends.
- Directly recruit and source active and passive candidates across a broad range of functions and levels, including senior leadership roles.
- Use AI tools — including Claude and Google Gemini — as a core part of your daily workflow to accelerate sourcing, automate recruiting tasks, synthesize market intelligence, and produce compelling job content and candidate communications.
- Actively engage on social media as a QAD brand ambassador to build our employment brand, strengthen talent pipelines, and directly recruit.
- Help hiring leaders develop their own social presence and contribute to an everyone-is-a-recruiter culture.
- Keep key stakeholders informed on recruitment activities, pipeline health, and key metrics.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and power user of our applicant tracking system (ATS), guiding and coaching HR partners and hiring leaders as needed.
- Actively participate as a team member within a global network of Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists, with representation from the Americas, APAC, and EMEA.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Qualifications
What You'll Need
- A partnership approach and a solutions mindset — you approach challenges as a trusted advisor, not a transactional order-taker.
- The ability to develop recruitment strategies and independently deploy them, sourcing in passive talent markets for hard-to-fill and strategic positions across multiple EMEA countries.
- A proven ability to engage passive talent in competitive, multi-market environments and convert them into active applicants and hires.
- Strong experience with social media and a demonstrated presence as a brand ambassador and thought leader in your vertical market or talent focus, with an understanding of regional platform preferences across EMEA.
- High proficiency in recruitment tools and systems including applicant tracking systems (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM), LinkedIn Recruiter, HRIS, and advanced internet search techniques.
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools — particularly Claude and Google Gemini — applied to real recruiting workflows: sourcing, candidate outreach, job description writing, market research, and workflow automation. Comfort learning and adopting new AI capabilities as they emerge is expected.
- 7+ years of recruitment experience across EMEA and Americas markets, including filling senior individual contributor and leadership roles, ideally with a combination of corporate and staffing agency backgrounds. Experience recruiting across multiple countries and navigating varying employment frameworks in Europe and the Americas is highly valued.
- Experience working in the software or SaaS industry recruiting across a broad range of functions — including sales, business development, customer success, marketing, software engineering, cloud/DevOps, quality assurance, technical consulting, IT, HR, and finance — is highly preferred. Familiarity with ERP, supply chain, or manufacturing technology sectors is a plus.
- Fluency in additional European languages is an advantage but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field preferred.
