The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering talent, learning and culture initiatives that help our Colleagues thrive.

Working closely with our Senior Manager, Talent & Learning, you will partner with leaders, colleagues and global Colleague & Culture teams to design and deliver impactful programmes that build capability, strengthen leadership and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.

You'll have the opportunity to influence strategic talent priorities across leadership capability, learning, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, early careers and colleague growth.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll:

  • Deliver engaging learning and leadership development programs across our London and New York offices.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance capability, performance and career development.
  • Lead and evolve early careers, graduate, internship and apprenticeship programmes.
  • Support talent management and succession planning activities that strengthen organisational capability.
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives that create opportunities for all.
  • Be responsible for induction programmes for all new Colleagues into the fund in both London and New York.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify capability needs and implement practical talent solutions.
  • Use data and insights to evaluate effectiveness, identify emerging skills needs and inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment across international offices.

This role is based on site at London King’s Cross Estate, one of the core assets of the Fund’s global portfolio. Due to the nature of the role, this position follows a hybrid working model, with a minimum of three days per week in our London office, in addition to visits to our New York office.

About You

Culture is key at AustralianSuper, and we are looking for someone who is a team player that enjoys working in a high performing collaborative team.

You will need to be a dynamic individual with financial services or similar experience, who really enjoys engaging with a range of stakeholders and thrives on being part of a hands-on team.

You'll bring:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with significant experience in Talent, Learning, Leadership Development or broader Human Resources functions.
  • Significant experience running coaching programmes, Early Leaders and Management Development Programmes, Talent Development, Learning, Leadership Development or Talent Management.
  • Expertise across a broad range of talent disciplines, including succession planning, performance management, leadership development, DEI and early careers.
  • A genuine passion for learning and development!
  • Experience working within financial services, asset management or another regulated FCA environment.
  • Exceptional facilitation, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levels of an organisation.
  • A strategic and curious mindset combined with a hands-on approach to delivery.
  • Strong organisational skills and experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in an office outside of the firm’s HQ is a bonus.
