What will I be doing?

You'll be partnering with one of our global enterprise clients, supporting the hiring of senior Corporate Development and Strategy talent across North America.

This is a specialist hiring project focused on senior-level appointments, from Senior Manager through to Vice President. You'll be recruiting exceptional professionals with backgrounds in Corporate Development, Strategy Consulting, M&A and Strategic Finance, working alongside a highly accomplished leadership team.

The hiring volume is intentionally low – around 10 hires per year – but every search is business-critical. Success in this role comes from your ability to deliver quality over quantity, build credibility with demanding stakeholders and proactively identify exceptional talent in highly competitive markets.

Your expertise, professionalism, resilience and willingness to go the extra mile will be what makes you successful in this role.

Typical Activities Include

  • Creating and gaining buy-in for hiring strategies across complex executive and senior leadership searches
  • Building trusted relationships with senior Hiring Managers, HR and business leaders, becoming a genuine talent advisor rather than simply filling vacancies
  • Partnering with demanding, high-performing stakeholders and confidently managing expectations throughout the hiring process
  • Conducting deep market mapping and proactive executive search across Corporate Development, Strategy, M&A and related functions
  • Directly sourcing and headhunting senior candidates through a variety of channels
  • Screening and assessing candidates against both technical capability and organisational fit
  • Presenting high-quality shortlists supported by market insight and hiring recommendations
  • Managing the end-to-end candidate journey, ensuring an exceptional experience throughout
  • Providing market intelligence, competitor insights and talent mapping to support business decisions
  • Maintaining accurate data within ATS and client recruitment systems

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

A Bit About Us…

Join Talent is a great place to be. We are EMEA's fastest growing Recruitment insourcing business (boutique RPO or embedded talent solution - we are not precious about the term!). Whatever you call it, it is in-house at pace!

Our ethos is scarily simple - we hire amazingly talented recruiters and recruitment leaders, support them really well, and provide them with a fantastic set of tools to create hiring success.

Companies often talk about how they put people first, we mean it to the bottom of our souls - and if you want to use your TA prowess to check that out just message anyone from our team of over 200 recruiters and ask them for their views on how well we do at putting our team first and creating a great culture.

We provide growing businesses with the technology, manpower and expertise required to enable them to hire, onboard and manage the talent they need to meet their growth plans. Our model provides flexibility and pace for rapid deployment of hiring scale-up solutions.

Established in early 2019 Join Talent is in many respects the ‘new kid on the block’ in the market, but we support some of the world's most exciting brands, and have over 200 team members across 19 countries today.... and still growing!

We work in an industry agnostic manner, and this is reflected in the diversity of our clients who include companies as diverse as Amazon, OnBuy, Mambu, Zego, Booking.com, Celonis and Frontiers.
