The Role
As our Senior Talent Partner for Product & Design, you’ll play a key role in shaping the teams responsible for building Fresha’s products and experiences.
This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who combines exceptional recruiting craft with strong commercial judgement, deep market knowledge and the credibility to influence senior leaders.
You’ll operate proactively rather than reactively, building relationships with exceptional Product and Design talent well before hiring needs arise and developing a detailed view of the companies, individuals and capabilities that matter most to Fresha.
Working closely with senior Product and Design leaders, you’ll translate business and organisational priorities into forward-looking talent strategies. You’ll advise leaders on team shape, talent availability, candidate quality and hiring trade-offs, while challenging assumptions where necessary to ensure we continue raising the bar.
You’ll own complex and business-critical searches end to end, particularly for senior and high-impact hires, and will be expected to set a high standard for recruiting quality across the wider Talent team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Product and Design will be your core focus, although you may also partner across Engineering and other areas of the business as priorities evolve.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as a strategic talent partner to senior Product and Design leaders, developing a deep understanding of their organisations, roadmaps and future capability requirements.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with exceptional Product and Design talent across the market, with a particular focus on senior and hard-to-hire profiles.
- Develop proactive talent-mapping, sourcing and engagement strategies for both immediate and future hiring needs.
- Build a detailed understanding of target companies, organisational structures, talent movements, compensation trends and emerging areas of expertise.
- Use market intelligence to influence workforce planning, hiring priorities, role design and talent decisions.
- Challenge hiring leaders constructively on requirements, candidate quality, assessment and market realities.
- Lead complex, senior and business-critical searches from initial scoping through to candidate engagement, assessment, offer negotiation and close.
- Partner with hiring leaders to define what exceptional performance looks like and build rigorous, evidence-led assessment processes.
- Create highly personalised engagement strategies for passive candidates and build credibility with some of the strongest talent in the market.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects the quality and ambition of Fresha.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, tooling, assessment quality and ways of working across the Talent function.
- Share market knowledge, sourcing approaches and recruiting best practice with other Talent Partners, helping raise the capability of the wider team.
- Support hiring across Engineering and other business-critical areas where required.
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience recruiting Product and Design talent within high-growth technology businesses, executive search or specialist search environments.
- A strong track record of delivering senior, complex and difficult-to-fill Product and Design searches.
- Deep knowledge of the Product and Design talent landscape, including leading companies, disciplines, organisational models and high-performing talent.
- Evidence of building meaningful long-term relationships with exceptional passive candidates rather than relying primarily on inbound or active applicants.
- Experience advising senior executives and functional leaders as a credible, commercially minded talent partner.
- Strong judgement around talent quality, with the confidence to challenge hiring decisions and advocate for candidates who can materially raise the bar.
- Exceptional sourcing, networking, research and talent-mapping capability.
- The ability to translate business strategy and organisational needs into practical talent and hiring strategies.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities and demanding senior stakeholders.
- A highly proactive and ownership-driven approach, with the ability to operate independently and move complex searches forward.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent Fresha credibly with senior candidates.
- A genuine interest in Product, Design, technology and how exceptional teams are built.
