Semi-Senior / Senior Tax Adviser
📍UK-Based Opportunity (Bromsgrove)

An established and growing accountancy practice is expanding its tax department and is seeking a motivated Semi-Senior or Senior Tax Adviser to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid UK tax experience who enjoys client interaction and technical work whilst working within a supportive and flexible working environment.

The Role
You will manage your own portfolio of clients while delivering tax compliance and advisory support across a broad range of matters.
Key Responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of clients and identifying tax planning opportunities

Building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service

Handling correspondence with clients and HM Revenue & Customs

Preparing:
- Income tax computations
- Business tax computations
- Capital gains tax (CGT) computations
- 60-day CGT returns
- P11D forms
- Employment-related securities returns
- ATED returns

Reviewing work completed by junior team members

Mentoring and supporting junior staff

Researching technical tax matters and presenting practical solutions

Experience with trusts and estates compliance would be advantageous.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar tax role
- Strong understanding of UK tax compliance and advisory work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and TaxCalc
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and team-oriented approach
Preferred
- ATT qualified or working towards qualification
Training and ongoing development and support will be provided, including access to external courses where appropriate.
