Senior Tax Accountant

South Yorkshire (Hybrid Working)
£30K - £48K

We’re working with a well-established accountancy practice in South Yorkshire that is looking to add a Senior Tax Accountant to their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who already has solid practice experience and is looking to take the next step in their tax career, working closely with a varied client base and getting involved in more advisory-focused work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns
  • Managing your own portfolio of clients
  • Providing day-to-day tax advice and support
  • Assisting with tax planning and advisory projects
  • Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team
  • Dealing directly with client queries
  • Keeping up to date with relevant tax legislation
  • Supporting managers and partners with more complex tax matters

About you

We’re looking for someone with previous UK accountancy practice experience who has a strong grounding in tax and is comfortable dealing directly with clients.

Ideally, you’ll be ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified/part-qualified, although relevant experience will also be considered.

You’ll be confident, commercially aware, and keen to continue developing your technical knowledge and career within practice.
