A well-established accountancy and advisory firm is looking to appoint a Private Client Tax Senior to join its growing tax team in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced personal tax professional seeking greater client exposure and the chance to work closely with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, trusts and family wealth structures in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
You will manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring compliance obligations are met while identifying tax planning opportunities and assisting with a range of advisory projects.

- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
- Preparing and reviewing Self-Assessment tax returns.
- Advising clients on Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax matters.
- Assisting with trust and estate tax work.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supporting Partners and Managers on advisory projects.
- Reviewing work completed by junior team members.
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation.
About You
- ATT and/or CTA qualified (or studying towards CTA).
- At least 3 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice tax team.
- Strong knowledge of personal tax compliance.
- Exposure to advisory work would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage deadlines effectively.
